Denice Shackelford
Director of Process Improvement & EducationDenice S. Shackelford, a proud Wilmingtonian, is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Wilmington with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing and a Master of Public Health from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She maintains certification in Healthcare Quality. Denice joined WellCare in 2009 and leads the team responsible for improving performance and education. Her clinical experience and past leadership roles in health care are assets to the organization.
