Mary Alice Mirek, RN, BSN
With 19 years of nursing and management experience under her belt, Mary Alice began her nursing career at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington. She gained strong clinical skills from her time in both the Medical-Surgical and Intensive Care Units, and also worked as the Clinical RN for gastroenterology and nephrology private practices.
Mary Alice transitioned into the Home Care sector in 2006, and joined the Well Care team as a Private Duty Nurse where she gained more hands-on patient experience. Mary Alice moved up the ranks through a variety of leadership roles at Well Care and is currently a member of the Senior Leadership team, now serving as the Senior Director of Home Care Operations. She oversees 7 Home Care branches across North Carolina.
Mary Alice is a graduate of East Carolina University and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. She serves on committees for the National Association of Home Care and Hospice, along with the North Carolina Association for Home Care and Hospice, and the National Nurses Association. Mary Alice is a committed patient advocate and consistently strives to improve the patient experience and clinical outcomes.
